I’ve tried so many things, how do I know this will work for me?
This is not a quick-fix weight loss program. If that is what you are looking for, then HER Academy is not for you. This program is backed by science and evidence-based practices and focuses on meals, movement, and mindset. By focusing on blood glucose, insulin management, and daily healthy habits you improve your health, reverse symptoms and as a result lose weight more easily.

What if I don't have insulin resistance or diabetes?
HER Academy elevates your meals, movement and mindset. If you want to see results without a restrictive diet or counting macros forever, then this approach is for you. We have ladies who have reversed insulin resistance, PR’d in marathons, stopped binge eating, lost 5-75 lbs, and most importantly feel more confident about their body and overall health!
Do I need a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM)?
Short answer is - no. However, many of my client utilize a CGM to get more specific and individualized guidance about their nutrition and health goals. HER Academy provides CGM resources about how to order, utilize, and interpret your own data.
What if I’m pregnant or trying?
Congrats mama! HER Academy is a great way for you to focus on building a healthy body, prenatal nutrition, and setting yourself up for a healthy pregnancy. Improving your blood sugar and daily habits can help you have an easier pregnancy and postpartum journey.
Can I use my HSA or FSA to enroll?
You can use your HSA or FSA to enroll into HER Academy. Please check with your employer or specific insurance provider for more details on coverage. See insurance FAQ below for more details.
Can I pay with insurance?
You can use your HSA or FSA card to pay for HER Academy monthly membership. Once enrolled in HER academy you can utilize insurance to pay for 1:1 coaching sessions with Steph. Members always have the option to pay for 1:1 sessions without insurance.

Do you give meal plans and workout plans?
Yes and no! I'm not here to tell you what to eat and when to eat it because what I like to eat you might hate. HER Academy has a library of meal options, but I'm here to guide you in the right direction and provide suggestions based on your goals. As for workouts, you get on a tailored plan based on your equipment access (gym or home), your current capabilities, and your goals. Each plan looks slightly different!
